To let you find the perfect balance between features and price tags, the CX-5 is available in five trim level options. Here is a quick overview of what each trim level has to offer:

Sport

Even though the 2020 Mazda CX-5 Sport is the least expensive option in the lineup, it’s still equipped with an impressive range of exciting features.

For power, the Sport — as well as the Touring and Grand Touring — utilizes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. It’s equipped with some sought-after driver-assist technologies: a lane departure warning system and smart city brake support with pedestrian detection. The Sport, like every trim level, can be outfitted with an all-wheel-drive system that boosts traction on the road.

Touring

The Touring trim level brings more luxuries to the CX-5, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for the touch screen, a six-speaker sound system instead of the Sport’s four-speaker system, rear privacy glass, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Touring has access to a Touring Preferred package that allows you to add more features, such as the Bose sound system and a sunroof, but even without the package, this trim level is decently equipped.

Grand Touring

The Grand Touring is equipped with a 10-speaker Bose sound system that gives the CX-5 a concert-hall sound quality. It also adds steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters that let you take control of your CX-5 like its a manual-transmission racer. The rear power liftgate with adjustable height makes loading and unloading your rear cargo area a breeze.

To boost the CX-5’s comfort, the Grand Touring is also equipped with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, and memory functions for the driver’s seat.

The Grand Touring also has access to the GT Premium package, which adds heated seats to the rear row, ventilation for the front seats, a head-up display, and more.

Grand Touring Reserve

The Grand Touring Reserve and Signature boosts the CX-5’s power levels with a higher-output version of the same engine, up to 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque with premium gasoline. It also adds an off-road traction assist that makes it one of the more confident crossovers on the road. The Grand Touring Reserve is equipped with the Grand Touring’s optional upgrades.

Signature

When you want the highest level of refinement the 2020 CX-5 is capable of, only the Signature will do. Its seats are upholstered in brown Nappa leather-trimmed seats and its cabin features genuine layered wood accents. To take your safety to the next level, the Signature comes with a 360-degree camera monitor with parking sensors that allow you to maneuver through crowded city streets and parking lots with ease.
